Douglas Edwards is an American former professional basketball player who was selected by the Atlanta Hawks in the first round of the 1993 NBA draft. Edwards played for the Hawks and Vancouver Grizzlies in 3 NBA seasons, averaging 2.4 ppg. He played collegiately at Florida State University. Edwards gained his nickname "Doughboy" while playing in Vancouver. On September 10, 2008, Frank Martin announced the addition of Edwards to his coaching staff at Kansas State University.
