Grant Dean Williams is an American professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Tennessee Volunteers. A 6'7" power forward from Charlotte, North Carolina, he was drafted 22nd overall in the 2019 NBA Draft. Williams was an All-Southeastern Conference player as a freshman, sophomore, and junior. He was awarded back-to-back SEC Player of the Year honors for the 2017–18 and 2018–19 seasons, becoming the first player to do so since Corliss Williamson in 1995. He led Tennessee to a #3-seed in the 2018 NCAA Tournament and #2-seed in the 2019 NCAA Tournament.
