British drummer and keyboardist
Laurence Andrew Tolhurst known professionally as Lol Tolhurst, is an English musician, songwriter, producer and writer. He is a founding member and the former drummer of English rock band The Cure, he switched to keyboards duties in 1982 and left the group in 1989. He was temporarily reunited with them for a number of shows in 2011. He was also involved in the bands Presence and Levinhurst.
