Charles Michael Thompson is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative for California's 4th congressional district since 1999. The district, in the outer northern portion of the San Francisco Bay Area, includes all of Lake and Napa counties and parts of Contra Costa, Solano, Yolo and Sonoma counties.
