Priti Sushil Patel is a British politician serving as Member of Parliament (MP) for the Witham constituency in Essex since 2010. She was Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury and Minister of State for Employment under David Cameron, subsequently serving as Secretary of State for International Development under Theresa May. A member of the Conservative Party, she is ideologically positioned on the party's right-wing and has been described as a Thatcherite.
